The Pittsburgh Steelers acquired Malik Reed, an outside linebacker from the Denver Broncos, to add depth to their defense.
ESPN Insider Adam Schefter claims that the Broncos will be receiving compensation for Reed’s late draft picks in return.
Reed, 26 years old, has been with the Broncos from 2019, playing in 45 games and making 34 start.
Reed recorded 43 combined tackles, five passes sacks, and two forced fumbles during the 2021 season. This type of production would be welcomed by the Steelers this fall.
Reed will likely be T.J. Watt’s primary backup.

With Bradley Chubb and Randy Gregory at the outside linebacker, the Broncos are well-equipped. The roster also includes Nik Bonitto, Baron Browning and other serviceable depth.
NFL fans can expect to see more trades before the final rosters are due today.
