The San Francisco 49ers made a few roster changes. Robert Nkemdiche, a former first-round draft pick, was part of that unfortunate group.
Nkemdiche was a former All-SEC defensive player at Ole Miss. He signed with the 49ers in July. Last Friday, he recorded two tackles against the Green Bay Packers
Nkemdiche was previously with the Arizona Cardinals (now the 49ers), the Miami Dolphins (now the Seattle Seahawks) and the Seattle Seahawks (previously the 49ers).
Nkemdiche’s NFL career includes 59 combined tackles, 11 quarterback hits and 4.5 sacks. He also had two forced fumbles.
Nkemdiche, at 27 years old is not yet ready to realize his full potential.

Nkemdiche was also released by the 49ers. Wide receiver KeeSean John, cornerback Darqueze Dennard and fullback Josh Hokit were also part of the deal.
The 49ers will play the Minnesota Vikings on Saturday.
