Dak Preston isn’t forgetting where he comes from. The Dallas Cowboys’ quarterback was in Omaha on Tuesday night for the College World Series to support his alma mater.
Prescott was not let down by Mississippi State, which defeated Vanderbilt 13-2 in an all-out win-or-go home situation. Prescott gave the Bulldogs an amazing gift before Game 2 began.
Pete Thamel, Yahoo Sports’s director of Yahoo Sports, tweeted that the entire Mississippi State team received Beats headphones by Prescott.
This is a sweet gesture by Prescott, who earlier this year signed a $160million contract with the Cowboys.

Prescott’s gesture was not unnoticed by Cowboys fans who tweeted, “That’s me quarterback!”
Fans from Mississippi State also applauded Prescott’s support for his alma mater in the College World Series. One fan tweeted, “Can this guy not be a better ambassador to the Dawgs?” It’s not possible, I think.
At this point, it’s not clear if Prescott will attend Game 3 between Mississippi State University and Vanderbilt. He is expected to be cheering on his school in a Bulldogs shirt.
ESPN2 will broadcast Game 3 of the College World Series. The first pitch will be at 7 p.m. ET.
The Bulldogs will be trying to win their first national championship. Meanwhile, the Commodores want to win back to back titles.
