TMZ Sports recently obtained video surveillance footage that gives a fresh perspective on the alleged attacks of Elliott’s dogs. Security tapes from the Dallas Cowboys’ Frisco, Texas neighborhood included audio of a woman screaming for help as as Elliott’s Rottweiler, Ace, allegedly attacked her in her own backyard.
This is the third lawsuit levied against Elliott in the last 14 months involving his alleged “dangerous dog.” The woman in the footage, Jennifer Gampper, is reportedly seeking $1 million in damages stemming from the incident.
The footage begins with a landscaper leaving Elliott’s side gate open on May 19. The gate seemed to have remained open all night, which allowed the three running backs to get away the next day. Gampper is also suing the landscaping company.
According to the case file Gampper found Elliott’s dogs on the streets and took them to her backyard to keep them safe. This is the alarming security footage that was captured when the dogs allegedly attacked Gampper.
The attack left her with “severe, permanent” injuries to her forearm, stomach, and forearm.
Elliott’s dogs allegedly attacked another neighbor earlier in the day. He was left with injuries to his wrist, hand, forearm and thigh.
Both victims needed hospitalization.
Elliott’s attorney Frank Salzano released the following statement to TMZ Sports:
“Mr. “Mr. Elliott and his representatives are aware that a lawsuit was filed on July 30, which stems out of an incident reported previously from May 21st. Elliott stated at the time that he was concerned about the other party.
“But, like most disputes, there are extenuating factors to this matter that will impact the legal proceeding which we aren’t at liberty to divulge. We have no other comment at the moment.
Elliott was issued three separate citations and his Rottweiler was removed from the city.
