The Kansas City Chiefs’ backfield starter returns. It was reported Saturday that Clyde Edwards Helaire, the running back, will be activated from the IR in advance of Sunday’s match against the Cowboys.

Darrell Williams displayed better chops as a pass-catcher and a red zone runner. Don’t be surprised to see Clyde Edwards-Helaire relegated to ground work between the 20’s. https://t.co/HFcXgYXoKp

There were rumblings from Kansas City earlier in the week that Edwards-Helaire might be activated. Andy Reid, Coach, said that the second-year back had had a great week of practice.
Andy Reid stopped short of saying that Clyde Edwards-Helaire would be activated off IR and play on Sunday against Cowboys. But he said Edwards-Helaire had a good week of practice

After sustaining a left knee injury against Bills, the Chiefs running back has been out of action since October 10. Edwards-Helaire was tackled midway through the third period.
He was coming off two 100-yard rushing games, before the 5-foot-7 back from LSU went down.
Kansas City’s offense is now stronger since Edwards-Helaire moved to the IR.
Patrick Mahomes and his team scored 41 points in Vegas last week against the Raiders. Mahomes ended up with more than 400 yards and five touchdowns.
The #chiefs will be activating RB Clyde Edwards-Helaire off IR ahead of their game against the #cowboys per source. I’ll have more on how he’ll be used tomorrow on @NFLGameDay

Tyreek Hill and Travis Kelce, a tight end, looked back like themselves. Hill was able to catch eight passes for 119 yards, while Kelce had eight.
The Chiefs will need to keep up their upward trend against the Dallas Cowboys.
After a win of 40 points over the Atlanta Falcons, Dallas is high. Big Red and Kansas City will try to get them off their high horse by winning Fox’s Game of the Week.
