Dallas Cowboys Announce Major Update On CeeDee Lamb

The Chiefs won’t allow one of the Dallas Cowboys’ top playmakers to return against them. CeeDee Lamb, wide receiver, has been declared “out” due to a concussion.

This news is courtesy of ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter.

Lamb was initially considered “questionable” for return after undergoing the NFL’s concussion protocol. After the diagnosis, things changed.

Schefter tweeted, “CeeDee lamb now ruled out due to a concussion.” Another insider noted that “Dallas will be playing in the Thanksgiving game against the Raiders for a brief week.”

Lamb could be ruled out of Thursday’s game due to the quick turnaround.

No. No.88 is one of Dallas’ top playmakers, even though he was held to only 14 yards on three catches. Through three quarters, the Cowboys offense can’t seem make a play against the Chiefs defense.

It’s been another week of up-and-down for Dallas so far. Two weeks ago, the Cowboys were blown out in Denver. They beat the Atlanta Falcons last weekend and now are down 16-6 to KC.

If the Cowboys are without Lamb Thanksgiving Day, Dallas will fall to Cedrick Wilson and Michael Gallup on the outside.

It was reported Friday that star wideout Amari cooper will not be able to play in the next two games due to positive COVID testing.
