Cooper, an unvaccinated Cowboys player, was positive for the virus in Week 11. He has been out of the Cowboys’ last 2 games. Normally, a positive test for the virus allows a player to return to the field within a 10 day period. Multiple reports indicate that the veteran wide receiver has been suffering from symptoms for longer than expected.
Despite this, Cooper’s news that he is traveling with the team is encouraging and will allow him to be available for tomorrow’s game.
Amari Cooper’s presence will be a huge boost for a Cowboys team which has dropped two consecutive games. The star wideout is second in the team’s receiving with 583 yards, five touchdowns and even though he missed multiple games.
Tomorrow night, Dallas will face New Orleans in a primetime matchup at 8:20 pm. ET.
