After Thursday’s victory over the Saints, Dak Prescott, Cowboys quarterback is happy.
The defense was a major reason Dallas won 27-17, snapping a two-game losing streak. Carlos Watkins helped one of the four interceptions to Taysom Hill, Saints quarterback.
Prescott added 238 yards through the air, with one touchdown pass (and one interception). Michael Gallup was the touchdown pass winner, with 36 yards and three receptions.
After the game, Prescott spoke with the media and touched upon the importance of this win due to the hardships the team has faced.
“It’s a win, I mean. Dak Prescott said, “It means a lot.” “The adversity that we’ve experienced, coming off the past two weeks, then coming in this week, being hit with COVID, and losing the head coach this Week. Many people showed their support.”
Due to the COVID epidemic this week, Dallas was without Mike McCarthy and other coaches.
The Cowboys’ win brought them to 8-4 and they will remain in first place in NFC East for next Sunday’s matchup with the Washington Football Team.
