According to reports, the Dallas Cowboys will lose one-half their running back tandem against the Washington Football Team today.
Tony Pollard was unable to practice this week due to a torn ligament in his plantar fascia and was therefore listed as questionable. Pollard did a pregame workout at FedEx Field, but he wasn’t active enough.
Ian Rapoport, NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, says Pollard won’t play this afternoon.

Pollard has rushed to 602 yards, two touchdowns and 31 receptions for 259 yard this season.
Dallas’ backfield will be very different with Pollard out. Ezekiel Elliott will still play, but the sixth year veteran is undergoing treatment for a knee injury. Veteran Corey Clement (9 carries, 20 yards), could be called upon to fill a larger role.
On Saturday, Dallas also promoted JaQuan Hardy, an undrafted rookie from the practice team. Hardy has not yet appeared in a game this year.
The Cowboys will play Washington Football Team at 1 p.m. ET on FOX today
