At the end of Dallas’ 27-20 victory over Washington, things got close. The Football Team was able to get back in the game thanks to a late pick six by Dak Prescott. The Cowboys won the NFC East, but they were not able to win.
After the game, Mike McCarthy, head coach, was proud of his team. McCarthy said, via Cowboys reporter Jon Machota, “It’s an excellent division win.” “We will play these guys again within two weeks. They are proud of their ability to compete.
Mike McCarthy to the team after the game: “It’s a good division win. We play these guys again in two weeks. Proud of the way they compete.”
He says he likes that the team had to battle through some adversity. “To get to where we want to go, we have to thrive in (adversity).”

The Cowboys Head Coach said he enjoyed the fact that the team had overcome adversity in order to win. Dallas is now 9-4, and holds the NFC East lead with three divisional bouts remaining. Although it wasn’t a very pleasing win for the Cowboys, it was a victory in the National Football League.
Defensive Driving:
The #Cowboys offense went full WTF in Week 14 vs. WFT, but a mostly whole defense, led by Micah Parsons, Randy Gregory and a cast of lethal characters, carpet bombed their division rival — FTW.

In the run game, the Cowboys offense relied heavily upon Corey Clement. Clement led the team with 13 carry to Ezekiel Elliott’s 12. Dak Prescott added seven more carries. The entire offense rushed for 122 yards.
The bright side was Mike McCarthy and the Boys’, Dallas defense looked great throughout the afternoon. Randy Gregory was great in his return. Micah Parsons is still a powerful presence.
