Through the first few weeks of the season, the Dallas Cowboys seemed to be one of few true powerhouses in the NFC, but the last few matches have revealed a different side of the team.
Dallas is now 3-3 in its last six games, with crushing losses to the Denver Broncos, KC Chiefs, and the Las Vegas Raiders (Raiders). Although there are still questions about what has gone wrong with the Cowboys over that time, one thing seems to be clear: Dak Prescott , the franchise quarterback, hasn’t been his usual self.
Prescott, who began the year at an MVP pace has been slowing down in recent weeks. His last game against the Washington Football Team was one of the most frustrating.
Although the Cowboys came out victorious in the NFC East match, Prescott was 22-for-39 for 213 yards with one touchdown, and two interceptions. He also had four sacks.
The Cowboys are still at 9-4. It’s not too late to raise the alarm in Dallas. Owner Jerry Jones had to answer questions regarding his quarterback’s performance in recent weeks.
Jones replied, “I don’t want to say that, slump,” when Jones was asked if Prescott was in a slump. Per ESPN’s Todd Archer. It’s a multi-faceted evaluation, and I would say that our offense is clearly away from where it was playing 5 or 6 years ago.
Jerry Jones was asked on 105.3 The Fan if Dak Prescott is in a slump. “I don’t want to say that, slump, but that’s probably fair. But it’s such a multi-faceted evaluation that I would say our offense is definitely away from where we were playing 5 and 6 games ago."

Jones is correct in stating that the offense has not been performing well in recent weeks. The Cowboys are now at that point only once after scoring more than 35 points in their six previous games. Dallas scored nine points against Kansas City, and 16 against Denver.
The Cowboys remain just one game away from No. The Cowboys are currently the No. 1 seed in NFC and the NFC East leader. Dallas should be considered a contender for the championship, as long as Prescott is able to win the last four regular season games.
