On Tuesday, a member of the Dallas Cowboys training squad decided to jump to Colorado. According to ESPN’s Todd Archer (ESPN), defensive lineman Justin Hamilton will be joining Vic Fangio’s defense at Denver.
Archer reported that defensive tackle Justin Hamilton chose to join Denver’s active roster over Cowboys practice squad. Archer added, “He performed well in a reserve position on the active roster this year.”
Hamilton, a Louisiana-born undrafted DT, has been a part of four NFL seasons. Hamilton has made three starts in 27 career games. Hamilton recorded 23 tackles, one TFL and four QB hits, as well as half a sack.

Hamilton, a defensive lineman at 6’2 and 315 lbs, has previously played with the Chiefs Eagles Cowboys, Cowboys and Eagles. Hamilton, now 28, can now add the Denver Broncos.
The Broncos defense is a solid contender for the top spot in football this season. Unfortunately, the offense has failed them more often than not.
We've signed DT Justin Hamilton off the Cowboys' practice squad & placed DT DeShawn Williams on IR.

Since coming out of Alabama, Patrick Surtain I has been everything he promised. Pass rusher Bradley Chubb is still a threat off the edge when he’s healthy.
Denver’s entire defense unit is strong. When Hamilton arrives in Bronco country, we’ll see how Hamilton can add some depth to the trenches.
