The season has been a rollercoaster ride for Dak Prescott’s Dallas Cowboys.. The Cowboys were beaten by the Arizona Cardinals 25-22 at AT&T Stadium on Sunday. This was just one week after beating Washington Football Team 56-14.
Prescott completed 24-of 38 passes for 226 yards, three touchdowns and a touchdown on Sunday. However, Arizona’s defense held Dallas to just 301 yards and 22 points. The Cowboys’ running attack was ineffective, with the team completing only 45 yards total on the ground.
Prescott met with media after the Cowboys’ defeat, dropping them to 11-5 for the season. shared his thoughts about the loss. While Prescott admitted that he was disappointed, the quarterback made it clear that his thoughts are not discouraged.
“Damn sure not discouraged,” Prescott said, as posted in a tweet by Michael Gehlken of the Dallas Morning News.
Prescott, who has thrown for 4,154 yards with 32 touchdowns and 10 interceptions in this season’s regular-season, will be closing the Cowboys’ regular-season against the Philadelphia Eagles (9-7). Kickoff is set for 8:15 p.m. ET on ABC and ESPN.

The Cowboys’ first round matchup with the Cardinals and Kyler Murray is the way it stands. Prescott said that he is ready and DeMarcus Lawrence agreed.
Lawrence replied, “Damn right,” when Lawrence was asked if the Cowboys would like to face the Cardinals once again. They came out and gave it their all tonight. We competed and we will only get better. We’ll see them again and they will get it all.
