Many Dallas Cowboys fans will likely vote to fire Mike McCarthy, their head coach, following the Wild Card defeat to the San Francisco 49ers.
What would Michael Irvin, Cowboys legendary wide receiver, do?
McCarthy would remain the Hall of Fame wide receiver, saying that firing him would be an extreme reaction.
Irvin acknowledged that firing the second-year coach would be an “emotionally driven” mistake.

Irvin admitted previously that he has a few head coaches who he would like to replace McCarthy, but it’s unlikely they can be found.

Irvin said, “Now if I can get you Sean Payton?” I’ll take Kyle Shanahan and Sean Payton. Bill Belichick. If I can get you any of them, Coach McCarthy’s butt will be shipped fast. Do it for the sake of doing it. It will help me get better.
