Mike McCarthy is not living up to his expectations two seasons into his tenure at the Dallas Cowboys. Last season was a disappointing losing season without Dak Prescott, and this year saw another disappointing early playoff loss.
Although Stephen Jones, the vice president of the Cowboys, has denied rumors that there was a coach change, there have been rumors. Shaq however had an intriguing idea about who should take control of the Cowboys: Deion Sanders, a former cornerback.
“I’m putting it out right now,” Shaq stated on the Big Podcast With Shaq. “Deion Sanders will be the Cowboys’ next head coach. Jerry Jones, this message comes from Shaquille Ol’Neal Incorporated. Deion Sanders is the next Cowboys coach.
“You want Dallas to rock again. Deion, you are needed. Deion will hold these players responsible. Deion Sanders will be the Cowboys’ next coach. Tweet it, tweet it, damnit. TikTok, Instagram it, OnlyFans It, and put it out.
Sanders was a member of the Super Bowl’s 1995 team and played five seasons with the star on the helmet. Jerry Jones made him one the highest-paid defense players in the league, so there is a strong relationship.
Sanders has done an outstanding job as a coach at Jackson State. Sanders has been on campus for two seasons and the Tigers have a record of 15-5. They also won the SWAC last season. Sanders has been able attract at a level that no HBCU has ever seen, bringing in two of the top 100 prospects for the 2022 cycle.
We are still waiting to see what Sanders’ next career move will be. Although a bigger job might be available in college football, the Jones family would love to hear from Shaq.
Dallas Cowboys will have a coaching change at DC
Dan Quinn is the most sought-after name in NFL head coaching search. While the Chicago Bears have many candidates, it seems like the Cowboys’ defensive coordinator has a real chance of landing in the Windy City.
“The #Bears will request 2nd interviews with 2 additional candidates #Cowboys & ex-#Lions Coach Jim Caldwell,” Ian Rappaport tweeted Monday. Per @TomPelissero, #Colts Matt Eberflus will have his second interview on Wednesday. #Saints DC Dennis Allen will be interviewing tomorrow.
It seems almost certain that the former Atlanta Falcons frontman will lead another NFL team in 2022.
