The contract news from the National Football League on Saturday didn’t please Dallas Cowboys fans.
The Cleveland Browns announced earlier this weekend that Amari Cooper’s contract was being restructured, thereby releasing some cap space.
The #Browns restructured WR Amari Cooper’s contract, converting most of his $20 million base salary into a signing bonus, adding two void years and saving over $15M on the 2022 salary cap.

Cooper was traded to the Browns by the Cowboys in this offseason. Many believe that Cooper’s trade to Dallas was due to salary cap.
Cowboys fans don’t like it.
Cowboys sat up in our face and told us they had to do what they had to do with the cap because when you pay Dak Prescott $40 million you have to make tough decisions…
Matthew Stafford got the same deal as Prescott & Rams got better, quit letting the Cowboys lie to you!

Cowboys fans were not the only ones upset by the salary cap news.
Matthew Stafford, Rams quarterback, was awarded a significant contract extension. Stafford now earns $40 million to $50 million per season.
Why can’t the Cowboys spend as much as the Rams against their salary cap?
The Cowboys have not had a great offseason so far.
Although there is still plenty of time, Dallas fans are right now frustrated.
