Every year, players have a chance to be on the NFL rosters through the NFL draft and subsequent undrafted free agent signings.
It also pushes out veteran players who are just on the edge to make the roster. Dallas Cowboys made one such decision and moved on from a veteran running back who had become a fullback.
Multiple reports claim that the Cowboys released fullback Sewo Olowilua, who was drafted by the team in 2020. After being undrafted in 2020, the former college football running back has switched to fullback.

Olonilua was to compete for the role of backup fullback or maybe even third running back. Dallas decided that it was time to make a move.
During his two seasons in Dallas, he struggled to make an impact. As a rookie, he was activated from practice for two games.
He was injured before the 2021 season began and was unable to get back to full health.
He’ll now have to search for a new team.
