It was reported Wednesday night that Jerry Jones, owner of the Dallas Cowboys, was in a minor auto accident. The owner of Dallas Cowboys was taken to the hospital “precautionary” reasons.
The latest Jones status update is encouraging.
WFAA reporter Matt Howerton stated that Jones’ injuries in Wednesday’s car accident weren’t serious.
Howerton wrote that Jerry Jones, the owner of the car, was in an accident at 8:08 pm near Wolf and Harry Hines. Sources with DFR/DPD reported this. Sources say Jones was taken to Parkland by Rebecca Lopez and myself, but the injuries are not serious.

Stephen Jones, Cowboys executive vice-president, also updated ESPN’s Todd Archer on the status of his father.
Jones, now 79, is still heavily involved in Cowboys’ day to-to-day operations.
Jones spoke last week to the media about draft picks by the Cowboys. He’ll hopefully be able to make a quick return to the facility.
