This rate means that most of the 2022 NFL schedules will be confirmed before Thursday’s official reveal.
According to Jeff McLane of the Philadelphia Inquirer, the Dallas Cowboys will play host to the Philadelphia Eagles on Christmas Eve. The NFC East rivals will meet on Saturday, if the NFL confirms this plan later in the evening.

Dallas has only one date set in its 2022 calendar. In Week 10, Mike McCarthy, the Green Bay Packers’ head coach, will be returning to Lambeau Field. FOX will broadcast the marquee gameup Sunday, November 13, at 4:25 p.m. ET.
The Cowboys are the team with the most balanced schedule, according to NFL on CBS. They’ll be able to win easy victories against the Jacksonville Jaguars and Detroit Lions in addition to four games against Washington Commanders and New York Giants.
They’ll be facing Tom Brady’s Tom Buccaneers, as well as both Super Bowl winners last year (Los Angeles Rams or Cincinnati Bengals).
The Eagles will be playing their home opener against Minnesota Vikings on Monday night Football in Week 2. The Cowboys will be their opponent, while the Eagles will face the New Orleans Saints and the Arizona Cardinals.
In two dominating victories over Philadelphia, Dallas scored 92 points. This Christmas Eve meeting could be a significant one, unlike last season’s Week 18, when both teams were already in the playoffs.
Peacock and the NFL Network will broadcast the 2022 schedule unveiling at 8. ET.
