Dalton Schultz made it clear to the Dallas Cowboys that he wants to be paid. He reportedly won’t be attending any of the other OTAs until his extension has been resolved.
Ian Rapoport from NFL Network reports that Schultz is frustrated by the status of his contract extension negotiations with the Cowboys. This tight end accepted Dallas offer of approximately $11 million. He attended the OTAs initially, but he is now frustrated with the status of his contract extension talks with the Cowboys.
Both sides are still far from reaching an agreement, and have not made any significant progress.

Rapoport stated that the Cleveland Browns TE David Njoku got four-year, $56.75million contract which put them in a difficult spot when it came to contract negotiations with Dalton Schultz.
The 25-year old TE has a better understanding of the market and is now looking for similar players. Njoku’s contract has $28 million guarantee, so it is clear that the Cowboys will have to make a payment if they are to keep Schultz.
Cowboys fans will have to wait and watch how Schultz’s team handles the negotiations. Dallas could lose their young TE if they make a mistake here.
