The Dallas Cowboys will have a significant year in 2022. Today, the team made a decision about how many times they will be playing this summer for fans.
The Cowboys announced Thursday that they would be returning to Oxnard in California for their training camp. It will be their 16th visit to the camp.
The training camp will begin on July 27, and there will be 13 open practices. After the camp ends, the Cowboys will continue their road practice.
Dallas will host the Denver Broncos in their preseason opener on August 13, before they face the Los Angeles Chargers the following day on August 20.
After the Chargers’ game, there will be some final practices in Frisco. These times will be announced.

Dallas Cowboys just finished one of their most successful seasons in over 25 years. They set records and won the NFC East title. Their regular season success did not translate into the postseason.
Dallas was the No. 1 offense in the NFL last season, but they lost a few contributors to that 12-5 campaign. It is yet to be determined if they have the firepower to be comparable this year.
Since 1995, when the Cowboys won the Super Bowl, they haven’t been to the NFC Championship Game. They will likely be relegated to the NFC Championship Game in 2022 if they fail to do so.
