All Kansas City Chiefs players will have to participate in training camp before they can look forward to the 2022 NFL season.
The Chiefs will open their training camp schedule July 22 at Missouri Western State University, St. Joseph, Missouri. The Chiefs expect all rookies to report Friday as well as all injured players and four quarterbacks to participate on that day.
Patrick Mahomes, Chiefs quarterback, is looking forward to tagging along his fellow teammates in the new season. On Thursday, he took to Twitter with an eight-word tweet to express his excitement for the first day of training camp.

In mid-June, the Chiefs concluded their offseason schedule with a three-day mandatory minicamp. Mahomes is still working with his offensive teammates. Mahomes spent some time earlier this month building a rapport with wideouts Marquez Valdescantling in Texas and Justin Watson in Texas.
In non-Orlando Brown Jr. wants the bag news: #Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes has resumed throwing with WRs in Texas. Marquez Valdes-Scantling and Justin Watson – 2 players who've seen a lot of national & local hype early on – were out there this time. (📸's via hsmithphoto on Insta) pic.twitter.com/Ften0LdDX1

In the weeks ahead, Mahomes will be the focus of much attention. He will likely get more practice with the new offensive additions, including JuJu Smith–Schuster. The one-time NFL MVP Award recipient will need to wait until July 26, when the rest will be making their debuts in this year’s training camp.
