After making the playoffs last season, the Dallas Cowboys have high expectations for the 2022 season.
Dak Prescott, the star quarterback, celebrated his 29th birthday Friday. He revealed his bold plans for the team’s season. This will be the Cowboys’ “golden year,” he says.
After practice, Prescott declared that “it will be the golden birthday.” “I want this to be my golden year.”
Prescott stated that he still thinks about the Super Bowl winning “a lot.”

“I mean obviously knowing the quarterbacks that played specifically for this team and knowing their legacy and the ones that we hold at the highest standard are the ones that have Super Bowl rings,” Prescott said. “It starts there for me, trying to fill the shoes of those guys that have come before me and do something for this organization that hasn’t been done in a long time.”
Prescott has only one playoff win in his six-year NFL tenure. Prescott and the Cowboys are likely to be in the thick NFC playoff race at the close of the season.
Can they make it to the NFC title game, and possibly a Super Bowl?

Dallas has failed to win a conference championship in the last two decades despite winning many NFC East titles over the years. Since 2000, Dallas is 0-9 in playoff games. A Cowboys Super Bowl could bring back one of the most beloved franchises in the NFL.
