The Dallas Cowboys made the controversial decision to either let some key wide receivers go orĀ get rid of them during the 2022 offseason. Cowboys fans are clamoring for Dak Prescott to be given more support, but the actual plan of the Cowboys is not what they want.
Todd Archer, a Cowboys insider, reported Monday that Prescott is hoping to improve the play of his wide receivers in the coming year. Jerry Jones, the owner of the Cowboys, has stated that they will not be making any moves for wide receivers and will instead rely upon Prescott.
The receiving corps, aside from CeeDee Lamb, is currently thinned by Michael Gallup’s ACL injury and James Washington’s free agent signing.
Cowboys fans are furious at Cowboys’ wide receiver actions right now, and it is almost like they are blaming Jones. The comments reveal exactly what Jones thinks right now.

It’s isn’t irrational for the Dallas Cowboys to be expecting more of Dak Prescott with less. He’s being paid more than $20 million annually – an amount usually reserved for quarterbacks who elevate the play of others.
However, that doesn’t mean the Cowboys won’t offer Dak more receivers. Prescott’s best seasons have been when he has had Pro Bowl production at least from one of his wideouts.
Will the Dallas Cowboys offense perform as well this year as it did last year?
