The USA Trojans seemed to be putting themselves back on the National Title scene during the offseason when they hired Lincoln Riley as head coach and Caleb Williams as QB from the Oklahoma Sooners.
Despite the fact that the team is ranked 14th in the nation, it seems like the fanbase is not sold yet.
The camera shots from Saturday’s game at LA Memorial Coliseum against the Rice Owls showed that the stadium was not even close to full.

The area is currently experiencing a heat wave that has seen temperatures break records in southern California. Advocates are concerned about the safety of the homeless and the well-being of outdoor workers.
It is not hard to imagine that the majority of those who watched the team defeat an inferior opponent were tired.
