Six teams enter Week 2 with a record of 0-1, and at most one team will emerge as 0-2. Colin Cowherd believes there is a team with more to lose this weekend than any other.
Cowherd stated Friday in The Herd that the Dallas Cowboys could lose their season to the Bengals if they lose this weekend. He said that the Cowboys could fall two games behind the NFC East race, and that things could turn ugly.
Cowherd also took issue with Cowboys head coach Mike McCarthy openly criticizing the work that offensive coordinator Kellen Moore has done.
He concluded that the Cowboys were becoming more like the Raiders in Al Davis’ final years – constant laughingstocks for not being able to solve their own problems.
Stephen A. Smith, a Dallas Cowboys hater, has said many times that “What can go wrong, WILL go wrong” when it comes down to the Cowboys. Unfortunately for fans, this has been quite evident since their win in Super Bowl XXXX.
The Cowboys have just two playoff wins and no trips to the NFC Championship Game in the last 25-plus years despite posting 13 winning seasons since their last Super Bowl win.
If the Cowboys fail to build momentum before Dak Prescott returns, 2022 could be another lost season.
Is Colin Cowherd correct?
