Cooper Rush’s wife Lauryn, no longer willing to listen to the critics, savagely trolling the New York Giants after the Dallas Cowboys’ win.
In her latest Instagram Story, the Dallas Cowboys quarterback’s wife declared, “No better play in football than victory formation. Two years ago almost to the freaking day, the Giants cut Cooper because they wanted to just ‘rotate in other QBs and see’. Lolz. Fast Forward.. Monday freaking night in MetLife starting for AMERICAS TEAM. Look at God.”
Cooper Rush played from 2017 to 2019 for the Dallas Cowboys. In 2020, he moved to New York Giants to be a member of the practice squad. Rush returned to Dallas just a few months later, after he had been in New York.
Jason Garrett, the former Dallas Cowboys head coach, talked about Rush’s return to Dallas in a recent interview with The New York Post. Garrett said that other guys are more impressive in a gym environment. He’s a good size and has decent athletic abilities. His arm strength is also impressive. We saw good things in Dallas from the beginning with him. He made passes, moved the team and scored points.
Garrett said that Rush’s performance was not what the Giants thought it was. Cooper isn’t someone who can physically wow you. Sometimes, you can get caught up in this. Sometimes, those are the right decisions.
Wink Martindale, the Giants’ first-year defensive coordinator, praised the Dallas Cowboys quarterback “I see a guy that’s a starting quarterback in this league. Just watching him and the decisions that he makes, I think he’ll have a long career as a quarterback in this league.”
