After last night’s victory over the New York Giants, Cooper Rush is now 2-0 as the Dallas Cowboys’ starter quarterback.
Since last year, the Cowboys have been 3-0 in games Rush started in his place. Prescott is still recovering from thumb surgery but Dallas seems to be in good hands with Rush.
Owner Jerry Jones said on 105.3 The Fan this morning that Rush is “certainly playing as well as anybody could’ve expected” and added that the former undrafted free agent has “the makeup of a top quarterback.”

Rush passed for 215 yards and a touchdown in Monday Night Football’s game against the Giants. His numbers were better than if he didn’t have a few drops from his receivers.
Prescott had his stitches removed from the surgically-repaired thumb. informed Jane Slater of NFL Network that he might be back for Week 5.
Rush should be given at least one more chance to start against the Washington Commanders at home on Sunday.
