Green was a college football player in Houston during the 2021 college season. He had 13 receptions for 157 yards, and three touchdowns.
He was initially with the Houston Texans earlier in the year, but was released by them in late August.
Green will now be joining a Cowboys team dealing with injuries at the tight end. Dalton Schultz was hurt again, so they had to look at other options.
We will see if Green makes it to the 53-man roster when the Cowboys face the 5-0 Philadelphia Eagles next Sunday Night Football.
Kickoff will take place at 8:20 p.m. ET.
