Micah Parsons quickly made the case for being the NFL Defensive Player Of The Year. But his touchdown against Chicago Bears Sunday may just be his most memorable moment.
The Cowboys had a 12-point advantage over the Bears in the third quarter. This was when their defense began to show its weaknesses. Parsons capitalized quickly after Bears running back David Montgomery lost the ball.
Parsons ran to the ball, grabbed it quickly, but then realized that it was not his. He raced across the field, skipping any defenders to avoid getting marked down, and finally got the ball across to Dallas, giving him a 42-23 advantage.
In just a few hours, the play has been viewed over 25 million times. He is being compared to all the great football defenders and has already been dubbed the best in the game.

“Not only is he the best defensive player in football, with the ball in his hands he looked like ED on the back end,” one user replied.
“Micah was held, double teamed, then runs the play down 17 yards, picks it up and runs it the other way…” wrote another.
“Craziest s-t ever. He had no business recovering that fumble but the heart won’t let him not attack like a Pit off the leash. 11 from HEAVEN,” a third said.
As a rookie, Parsons nearly won Defensive Player Of The Year. Although there are still many seasons to go, this season will be remembered fondly in the final voting.
