On Friday, the Dallas Cowboys negotiated a possible quarterback option.
Jacob Eason, a former fourth-round draft pick, was at Cowboys facilities today for a workout.
Eason, a 2020 draft selection, spent his first year and half with the Indianapolis Colts, before moving to Seattle in the middle of the 2021 season. Eason spent some time with the Carolina Panthers practice squad roster earlier in the year.
Some Friday workouts included:
Cowboys: QB Jacob Eason, WR Antonio Callaway
Titans: TE J.J. Arcega-Whiteside, WR Kawaan Baker, WR Deon Cain
Browns: QB Reid Sinnett, TE Kahale Warring, TE Jace Sternberger

Eason was called upon to fill in for the Los Angeles Rams in a devastating loss. He completed three of five passes for the 59 yard and one interception pass in his first game of the year. Through two career games, he has accumulated 84 yards, zero touchdowns, and two interceptions.
Cooper Rush was the Cowboys’ starting quarterback when Dak Prescott was hurt earlier in the year. As a reserve option, the Cowboys also have QB Will Grier.
In a Week 10 matchup, the Cowboys will take on the Green Bay Packers.
