Dez Bryant believes that the Dallas Cowboys should consider adding another star running back to their roster.
The former Cowboys wideout made his case on Saturday night to acquire great player from the Titans to.
“Derrick Henry will bring the perfect balance to execute all of the fire power the Cowboys have,” Bryant wrote. “That’s a tough offense with a tough defense.”
Henry won back to back rushing titles in both 2019 and 2020, but missed nine games in the following year due to a broken leg. The former Offensive Football Player of the year returned to the NFL and led the league in carries in the NFL for the third consecutive season.
Cowboys get Derrick Henry with the supporting cast they have… Prescott Pollard Lamb Cooks Gallup and sprinkle in Turpin/Vaughn

Pollard was the only back who escaped Ezekiel’s shadow last year to be nominated for the Pro Bowl with 1,378 yards of scrimmage and 12 touchdowns. Bryant views that as a selling feature.
Bryant stated that “Derrick Henry carried a lot of the burden in Tennessee for his entire career.” “He doesn’t need to do that in Dallas.”
There have been rumors that the new Titans general manger Ran Carthon is interested in Henry. The Cowboys learned from their experience with Elliott that paying a lot of money to an old workhorse runner is not the best idea.
Dallas’ decision to replace Elliott with a running back who is 29 years old and has a $16.4 million cap on his salary seems shortsighted. The Cowboys would have to spend a lot of money to pay Henry and Pollard who are both due $10.1m on the franchise tag. They’d also have to give up draft capital in order to make a deal.
If you’re playing Madden in franchise mode, adding Henry could be fun. But the Cowboys wouldn’t likely sign a veteran to compliment Pollard.
