Josh Gordon was cut by the Kansas City Chiefs on Tuesday. Andy Reid, however, remains a fan.
Yesterday Reid spoke out to reporters that he was proud of Gordon, who joined the Chiefs in September last year after being reinstated following a suspension by the NFL.
Reid didn’t rule Gordon out of Kansas City at one point.
“Listen, I’m proud of Josh for all that he did. [It was] a real pleasure to have him here,” Reid said, via Pro Football Talk. “There’s a chance that he potentially is back here and if it doesn’t work out somewhere else, but just from a football standpoint but also even the bigger picture of things, he really did a heck of a job.”

Gordon was a part of 12 games played by the Chiefs, with seven starts. However, he was only targeted 14 times. He caught five passes for 32 yards with a touchdown.
Gordon didn’t appear in any of Kansas City’s postseason games.
