The Dallas Cowboys appear to be in good health heading into Thursday’s matchup with the New Orleans Saints. Despite this, one of their wide receivers was officially ruled out by the team due to injury.
Cedrick Wilson was injured in his ankle and has been ruled out of Thursday’s game. Cedrick Wilson was unable to practice this week so this is not a surprise.
Although the Cowboys have many options to replace Wilson, they shouldn’t ignore his situation for Thursday. Wilson has been quite productive this season, catching 30 passes for 420 yards with three touchdowns.
Cowboys WR Cedrick Wilson (ankle) out vs. Saints. But Cowboys activated WR Amari Cooper from the reserve/COVID/19 list, a positive indication of his conditioning and readiness.

Dallas will be without Wilson for the week’s game. This week, Dallas will require big games from CeeDee Lamb or Michael Gallup.
Wilson may not be the Cowboys’ only wide receiver to miss Thursday’s game. Amari Cooper is currently listed as questionable.
Cooper is moving in the right direction regarding his health, but he is still only two weeks away from being tested positive for COVID-19. His condition at the moment is somewhat questionable.
It’s crucial that the Cowboys win on Thursday night after losing back-to back games this season.
The Cowboys vs Saints will begin at 8:20 p.m. ET.
