The Pittsburgh Steelers got bad news just 24 hours before their scheduled match against the Cleveland Browns.
Safety Damontae Kasee was one of many players to be suspended for misconduct. Ian Rapoport, an insider at the NFL Network, reported that Kazee was suspended for three games following a violation to the NFL’s substance abuse policy.
“Steelers S Damontae Kazee was suspended for the next 3 games for violations of the NFL’s substances of abuse policy,” Rapoport said.

After suffering an injury in preseason play, Kazee is now on the injured reserve.
He spent his first four seasons with the Atlanta Falcons as a former San Diego State player. He eventually reunited with Dan Quinn, a Dallas Cowboys defensive player, before signing with Steelers in the offseason.
