Dallas Cowboys has brought in a brand new kicker.
Brandon Aubrey has signed with the team. He was kicking for Birmingham Stallions in the USFL. He will be competing with Tristan Vizcaino for the starting spot at training camp in the next few weeks.
Aubrey scored 14 of 15 field goals for the Stallions and didn’t miss an extra-point this past season. His performance helped the Stallions to win their second consecutive USFL title in this past season.

He tried out last summer for both the Jacksonville Jaguars as well as the Seattle Seahawks but was not selected by either team. He played soccer for Notre Dame prior to switching from soccer to football.
It is a very unconventional way to find a new kicker for the Cowboys, but they are in need of an upgrade from Brett Maher who cost them so many valuable points during last season.
Cowboys Training Camp will begin on July 26.
