T.J. Watt was seen to have suffered a severe upper-body injury during Sunday’s regular season opener.
On Sunday afternoon, the Pittsburgh Steelers star had a Defensive Players of the Year-type game that wreaked havoc on Joe Burrow’s offense and the Cincinnati Bengals.
Watt was seen to have suffered a severe shoulder or pectoral injury during Sunday’s game.
It was not good.
#Steelers OLB TJ Watt is going to the locker room with what appears to be a pec injury. It seems like he said "I tore it."

This would be a devastating blow to a Steelers team who had been performing well on defense in the 2022 regular season.
It’s possible that Watt didn’t sustain a torn pectoral, or shoulder injury. If it did, it will be something minor.
The Steelers will probably know more about the Steelers’ situation on Sunday.
