Carson Wentz shares this message for Dak Prescott ِAfter Devastating Injury

If anyone knows what it is like to suffer a gruesome injury, it’s Carson Wentz.

Since Wentz suffered a torn ACL in the 2017 season, he has not looked like his former MVP self. During that season, Wentz was playing like the league’s potential MVP before he had to sit back and watch Nick Foles lead the Philadelphia Eagles to their first Super Bowl title.

Wentz saw the serious leg injury to Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott on Sunday afternoon. Against the New York Giants, Prescott went down late in the third quarter and underwent surgery.

After the injury occurred, Wentz was like many from the rest of the league that took to Twitter to extend his best wishes.

“Worst part of the game. Definitely praying for @dak,” tweeted Wentz.

The Eagles and Cowboys may be rivals, but at the end of the day, we are all human beings. Nobody ever wishes for anyone to suffer an injury or get seriously hurt.

Dak was playing in hopes of earning a contract like Wentz. The Eagles quarterback signed a five-year deal worth over $100 million. Prescott was playing on the one-year franchise tag and could look at not receiving as much as he hoped.

Prescott was offered a five-year deal with over $100 million the table, but he backed away, hoping for potentially $35 million in salary each season.

Now, he will have to wait and see how the rehab process transpires. We wish nothing but the best for Prescott in his quest towards a full recovery.
