The Dallas Cowboys defeated the New Orleans Saints almost a week ago with an impressive performance – at least in defense.
The offense and star quarterback Dak Prescott, however, were struggling. Prescott was unable to catch wide receivers on plays that would normally be routine for one the most powerful offenses in the league.
CeeDee Lamb, star wide receiver, took part in the today’s blame. Lamb said that he had “messed up” with a route that could have resulted in Prescott’s long touchdown pass to him. Prescott was able to catch a wide open Lamb when Dallas took it on a fourth-down play. He admitted to running a poor route.
Jon Machota, Cowboys reporter, said that Lamb stated, “Yeah that was really on you, I messed it up.” “I completely messed up the entire play, honestly and in all honesty. It almost worked, but it was not. It was a bad route. It was a bad route. I misheard him.”

Dallas didn’t lose anything from the play. Dallas won 27-17 despite Taysom Hill, Saints quarterback, failing to overcome the Cowboys defense.
We will have to wait and see whether Prescott and Lamb are able to get on the same page in the Washington Football Team game this weekend.
