En route to their first place record of 6-1, the Dallas Cowboys had to overcome serious injuries. It appears CeeDee lamb has now joined this long list.
Jon Machota reports that Lamb injured his ankle Wednesday at Cowboys practice. According to the report, Lamb will be limited Thursday as the team prepares for Sunday’s home game against Denver Broncos.
Lamb is a star in Dallas after a strong rookie season. After a strong rookie season, Lamb has now surpassed his 74/935/5 record with 39 receptions, gaining 609 yards and four touchdowns.
He caught six passes totaling 112 yards to help backup quarterback Cooper Rush lead his Cowboys team to victory over the Minnesota Vikings. He was playing his third consecutive game of 100+ yards and the second consecutive game.

CeeDee Lamb may have to miss some time but the Cowboys have one the most talented groups of receivers in all of NFL. Amari Cooper is also injured but has had a good season, with 495 yards and five touchdowns. Cedrick Wilson, tight end Dalton Schultz, and wide receiver Michael Gallup are also having great years. Since the season opener against Tampa Bay Buccaneers when he caught four passes, he has been out.
Dak Prescott sustained a calf injury in Week 6, which the Cowboys are now managing. His status for Sunday against Broncos is unknown. He was a late scratch in last weekend’s match against the Vikings.
At 1 p.m., Dallas and Denver will meet at AT&T Stadium. ET
