The Kansas City Chiefs haven’t stopped adding weapons to their offensive arsenal. Ian Rapoport, NFL Network’s analyst, announced on Saturday that Devin Gray, wide receiver, was being signed by the team.
Gray signed in 2018 as an undrafted rookie with the Atlanta Falcons. Gray’s status with the team has changed many times in three years.
Gray spent some time with TSL Generals, before Gray signed a one-year contract with Baltimore Ravens in 2021.
Gray has had a difficult few years, but he was able to join the USFL to showcase his talents for professional teams around world.
Gray caught 25 passes for 210 yards and two touchdowns in eight games with Philadelphia Stars.
The Chiefs clearly saw enough potential for Gray to sign a one-year contract.
The #Chiefs are signing WR Devin Gray to a 1-year deal after a solid workout, per his agent @alexguminski. Gray is most recently from the USFL and has spent time with the #Falcons and #Ravens.

Chiefs currently have JuJu Smith-Schuster and Mecole Hardman in their wide receiver room. Skyy Moore, Skyy Valdes-Scantling and Skyy Moore are also present.
Gray will have to work hard to get into the rotation but he still has the chance to be on the NFL roster.
