A tweet from Dallas Cowboys insider Bobby Belt Friday morning stated that Belt would not close the door on a Cole Beasley reunion with the franchise. Although his tweet was sent before the Cowboys added James Washington.
I wouldn't close the door on a Cole Beasley reunion in Dallas.
I'm not saying there are ongoing negotiations, but I think there could be some mutual interest there at the right price.

Beasley, who was traded to the Buffalo Bills in 2019 by the Cowboys, was recently released by the Bills to make way for the Defensive End Von Miller. This season, he showed that he still has some power.
Although some may not think that 82 receptions for 693 yard are impressive or worthy of praise, you must remember that Beasley was a wide receiver when Wide Receiver Emmanuel Sanders arrived in Buffalo. He also didn’t play much because they were blowing out teams.
Beasley’s previous record of 82 receptions and 967 yards in 2020 was set by Sanders. He is likely to repeat those numbers now that their leading receiver Amari cooper has passed away. It’s not known who will get the most looks next year.
While I understand that the franchise has strengthened their WR3 with Washington signing it is not certain that he will succeed.
Beasley provides a proven option for the team and allows Washington to make his way onto the field as Wide Receiver Michael Gallup.
Even if Beasley is not signed, the chances that the franchise has finished upgrading their wide receivers are low. Based on multiple mocks, they predict it will happen through the NFL Draft. The Cowboys have signed Washington and they are betting on his best football.
