According to reports, the Dallas Cowboys will be using their experience in training camp kicking.
DallasNews.com’s Michael Gehlken reports that the Cowboys have released Lirim Hajrullahu. He played in one game for Dallas last season and three for the Carolina Panthers.
Brett Maher, who was signed earlier in the summer to replace rookie Jonathan Garibay, is now the Cowboys’ primary kicker. He was also the Cowboys’ primary kicker for 2018-19.

The Cowboys can always add another specialist to match Maher’s, but they will most likely start the season with Maher, 32, as their starter.
Maher played eight games in 2021 with the New Orleans Saints, scoring 10-of-12 extra points as well as 16-of-18 field goals. He is 65-of84 on field goals, and 78-of-81% on extra points for his career
