Ezekiel Elliott is a key member of the Dallas Cowboys team since 2016. However, at least one insider believes that his time with the franchise could be ending sooner than most people think.
Bobby Pelt, 105.3 The Fan made it clear that Elliott was entering his last season as a Cowboys player during a podcast appearance.
Pelt stated that Elliott’s contract was one of the worst in football.
Belt stated that Zeke could rush for 1,400 yards this year and 14 touchdowns. They need to move on. They need to move on. He isn’t the same player.”
Elliott is still under contract until 2026. However, the Cowboys may cut Elliott after this season to only take $11.8 million in dead money.
Although Elliott has done a lot in the NFL he still has a chip on his shoulders as he enters the 2022 season.

Elliott ran for 1,002 yards last season and scored 10 touchdowns on 237 carries. If he wants his loudest critics to be silenced, he’ll have to be even more efficient this fall
