The Dallas Cowboys seem to have their star pass rusher returning for Thursday’s game against the New Orleans Saints.
Last week, photos surfaced showing DeMarcus practicing for the first time after suffering a Week 2 foot injury. Cowboys fans were encouraged by this news and believed that the Cowboys would soon return to their form.
Well, he’s back. On Thursday afternoon, the Cowboys issued a statement announcing the team activated Lawrence form the Reserve/Injured-Designated for Return.
“The @dallascowboys activated DE DeMarcus Lawrence from Reserve/Injured-Designated for Return on Thursday. S Tyler Coyle was also promoted to the practice squad as a COVID-19 replacement,” the team stated in a statement.

This is a huge addition to a Cowboys’ defense, which has just suffered its worst season. A week ago, the Las Vegas Raiders visited Dallas and scored 36 points against Dallas in a win of 36 to 33.
Micah Parsons, the rookie sensation, can now be used in other areas than pass-rushing by getting Lawrence back.
It could prove to be a problem for the Saints Thursday night, if Lawrence plays.
