Jalen Tolbert was selected by the Dallas Cowboys in the third round, 2022 NFL Draft. This made a big impression.
Tolbert played wide receiver for South Alabama for four seasons and put up solid numbers.
He ended his college career with 3,140 yards of receiving and 22 touchdowns from 178 receptions.
Ian Hartitz, Pro Football Focus’s director of football analysis thinks the Cowboys  may have gotten a steal based on these stats.
Tolbert’s 2021 senior season was his best. He had 1,474 receiving yards, 8 touchdowns and 82 receptions.
He will now be joining a core of receiving that includes CeeDee Lamb, Michael Gallup and others heading into the 2022 season.
Hartitz will be a genius if Tolbert is able to put up solid numbers as the team’s WR3. Tolbert was selected on Day 2 in the draft.
