Marcus Mosher, podcast host of “Locked on Cowboys”, believes the team needs to make a move before the season begins to bring in a weapon on its outside.
They should also look to NFC East competitors to accomplish this.
Tweeting Wednesday, “I think the Cowboys should very much be interested in Darius Slayton if he is released or traded. He is someone I think could help the team right away AND when Michael Gallup returns.”

Slayton is rumored as a prime target for trade ahead of Week 1, with so many receivers competing for a spot in Brian Daboll’s offense.
Many of this could be due to injuries, though. Sterling Shepard is still recovering from his Achilles surgery, and KadariusToney has been suffering from a leg injury since training camp.
Cowboys need WR, as they currently have only one legitimate receiving threat in CeeDee Lamb, Pro Bowler CeeDee Lamb.
