Let Cooper Rush mania begin in Dallas.
Dallas Cowboys fell behind 17-3, but managed to escape the AFC Champion Cincinnati Bengals by narrowly winning Week 2. Brett Maher kicked a 50-yard field goal in the final quarter to win 20-17.
Cooper Rush completed 19 out of 31 passes for 235 yard and one touchdown with Dak Prescott out because of a thumb injury.
Lauryn Rush, Cooper Rush’s spouse, posted to Instagram after the game and expressed her excitement at his win and being able to go to 2-0 as a starter.

As he tries to keep the Cowboys in business until Dak Prescott returns, the 28-year old backup quarterback will start for several weeks.
Prescott will be out of action for four to six weeks after his hand surgery. Although many thought it would be the end of the Cowboys season, Rush’s continued success could allow Dallas to stay in the playoff race without needing to rush Dak.
