Cowboys RB Ezekiel Elliott Reveals The 1 Change He Made This Offseason

Three-time Pro-Bowl running back Ezekiel Elliott is heading into his sixth NFL season with a new physique.

During last night’s coverage of the NFL Hall of Fame game, the Dallas Cowboys star revealed that he’s shed 10 lbs in preparation for the 2021 season.

“Cleaned up the diet a little bit, little bit different training — definitely made an emphasis to get lighter coming into the season,” Zeke told Fox Sports’ Erin Andrews.

 

After this season, Elliott knew he needed to make some changes in his game.

The 2020 career lows for the ex-All-Pro RB were in rushing yards (979) and touchdowns (6). The former No. The former No. 4 overall pick ran 1,357 yards and scored 12 touchdowns.

Elliott was not the rookie star he was in 2016 as the league’s top rusher, and he recognized it was time for some changes.

“I’ve heard as you get older in this league, you want to start losing weight, and nutrition has played a big part of that,” the 26 year old said, per
