The Dallas Cowboys have just a month until training camp end, and they’ve added another kicker.
NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero reports that the Cowboys have signed kicker Lirim Hajrullahu. This will be his second stint with this franchise.
The Carolina Panthers removed Hajrullahu (from their roster) in May. For the last three weeks of the 2021 regular-season, he was their kicker.
Hajrullahu (32), made 4-of-5 field goals and all three extra points for the Panthers.
Hajrullahu now has the possibility to win the Cowboys’ starting job. He will compete against undrafted rookie Jonathan Garibay.
The #Cowboys are re-signing kicker Lirim Hajrullahu, source said.
They now have two kickers on the roster: undrafted rookie Jonathan Garibay and Hajrullahu, the former CFL all-star who made his NFL debut for Dallas last season and also kicked for Carolina.

Garibay attended Texas Tech and made 85.2 percent of his field goals in two years. He also scored 96.5 percent on his extra points.
The Cowboys hope that either Garibay, or Hajrullahu will fill the void left by Greg Zuerlein.
